RACE 1 (1,200M) (9) STAR IN MOTION was narrowly beaten over this course and distance last time. With experience, he could be difficult to peg back. (3) VICTOR HUGO has been knocking on the door. He was not far back last time and can finish a lot closer.
(6) HIGHER LOVE has been rested and appears to have come to hand.
(2) BOARDWALK BREEZE raced greenly on debut. The experience should see him come on from a handy draw.
RACE 2 (1,200M) (6) GORGEOUS BOMB was a touch disappointing last time. She makes her Poly debut and can improve.
(1) MIDNIGHT HOUR has raced greenly in both starts but should be at her best now. She has the best draw.
(10) PAPILLON BLU has a wide draw but Cape form is stronger. (7) CHAMPAGNE PROBLEMS showed up well at her first run for her new stable. She can build on that effort.
RACE 3 (1,400M) (6) L'ULTIMO has his third run after a lengthy break. He gets 4kg relief and he loves this course and distance.
(4) PORFIRIO is back on his favourite surface.
(2) MAC HARDY goes well over the course and distance. He has a good draw and can be competitive. (8) GORGEOUS DUDE was a beaten favourite last time. There is little between him and Mac Hardy, but the latter has the better gate.
