Hari Raya light-up kicks off Ramadan bazaar in Geylang Serai

About 500 stalls, daily live performances lined up for bazaar that runs till March 30
Parts of Geylang Road and Sims Avenue were awash with festive lights on Feb 25 as the Hari Raya light-up kicked off with a show at Wisma Geylang Serai (WGS).
Prime Minister Lawrence Wong launched the event, which also heralded the start of the annual Geylang Serai Ramadan bazaar.
A favourite among Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrants for festive shopping and culinary delights, the bazaar is set to feature about 500 stalls offering a range of goods and food options.
The bazaar will run from Feb 26 to March 30, from 10am until midnight except on the final day. Operating hours will be extended until 6am on March 31, the morning of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
