Who: Lin Shiyun, 43, founder of community arts group 3Pumpkins and community space Tak Takut Kids Club (TTKC).
The club caters to underprivileged families, offering a safe space for children to play and learn through the arts. TTKC recently published a book, The Good Gang, which Lin co-wrote with Carolyn Oei and Marc Nair, with illustrations by Nicole Soh. The book tells the stories of 10 kids who have grown up with the space and offers insights into the gaps in systems of support from education to social services.
