The Singapore Civil Defence Force and police said they were alerted to an accident involving a trailer and five cars on the ECP in the direction of the city, just before the Fort Road exit, at about 1.35pm.

A 71-year-old male driver and his 32-year-old male passenger, and another 70-year-old male driver, were taken conscious to Raffles Hospital.
