The report accuses law enforcers of attempting to obstruct the investigation and suppress key facts
A fact-finding committee investigating the recent controversy at Kasba law college in Kolkata submitted its report to BJP national president J P Nadda, alleging serious lapses in the handling of the case by both the police and the college authorities.
"The report, compiled by a panel formed to probe the matter, accuses law enforcers of attempting to obstruct the investigation and suppress key facts related to the incident. It further alleges that efforts were made to shield certain individuals with political or institutional influence. According to sources familiar with the report, the panel has raised concerns over the role of the college's governing body and questioned administrative appointments made despite prior knowledge of individuals' controversial backgrounds.
