he Election Commission on Monday announced the schedule of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram assembly elections from November 7-17, while counting of votes will take place on 3 December, in what is seen as a dressrehearsal for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
Voting will be held in a single phase in Mizoram on 7 November, Madhya Pradesh on 17 November, Rajasthan on 23 November and Telangana on 30 November, while Chhattisgarh will witness two-phase voting on November 7 and 17, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar said at a media briefing here.
