Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati has lashed out at the Congress party, accusing it of being historically insincere and untrustworthy regarding the rights and welfare of the Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Castes (SC), and Scheduled Tribes (ST).
Referring to a recent statement by the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, where he admitted Congress's failure to meet the political and economic aspirations of the OBC community, Ms Mayawati said this was nothing new.
