A double-storey building with twenty rooms, meant to accommodate ten families, was constructed in 2015-2016 in Ward No. 7, Sujalpur area, under Arambagh Sub-Division, at a cost of INR 37 lakhs, under the "Housing for All" project.
The initiative was taken by the Arambagh administration to rehabilitate ten families who had been residing temporarily on government land. However, to this day, the fully constructed building remains vacant, attracting antisocial elements.
