Surya Sen Mahavidyalaya Hosts International Conference on Ecology

Surya Sen Mahavidyalaya recently organised a Multidisciplinary International Young Researchers' Conference titled "Planet, Text, and Context: Perspectives on Ecology." The event was jointly hosted by the Department of English and the Research & Development Cell in collaboration with the IQAC. It brought together young researchers from around the world to share ideas on ecological thinking in today's climate crisis.

Principal P K Mishra inaugurated the conference, calling it a significant step in promoting student research. "As educators, we must harness students' research potential, and this conference is a vital step in that direction," he said.

Participants from countries like England, Germany, Algeria, and Bangladesh, along with researchers from various Indian states, took part in the conference. Scholars and students from institutions across Siliguri also added value to the sessions with their active participation.
