Rajasthan govt grants ₹ 2,600 crore relief package for flood-rain affected farmers

The Rajasthan government has released a Rs 2,600 crore relief package for 43.39 lakh farmers who suffered damage - losses in natural calamities like unseasonal rains or floods or heavy downpour in some parts of the state.

This agro-input grant or subsidy package is being announced for affected farmers for buying agricultural inputs, including seeds, fertilisers and other agro implements, Relief and Agriculture Minister Dr Kirodi Lal Meena said.
