Bihar govt's first Cabinet meet unveils big jobs, tech push

The newly formed Bihar Cabinet, in its first meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday, approved several initiatives aimed at widespread employment generation and industrial development in the state.
After the meeting, Chief Secretary Pratyay Amrit told the media that the Cabinet has decided to set up 25 new sugar mills and reopen nine previously closed mills. The Cabinet also approved the development of 11 new townships, one in each of the nine divisional headquarters, along with Sitamarhi and Soneput.
