Redefining classroom learning

Education in India has reached new heights with the arrival of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the classrooms today.

Marking another milestone, Extramarks recently launched a new AI suite in Kolkata to empower teachers and students and transform classrooms into collaborative learning environments.

The launch event featured a keynote address by Poonam Singh Jamwal, Chief Business Officer of the organisation. She emphasised how the new AI tool reimagines the classroom experience, “This innovation puts the power of AI directly in the hands of teachers and students, enabling personalised, engaging, and secure learning at scale. We are delighted to bring this to the teachers and students of Kolkata, and we are confident this will help in transforming the classroom experience.”

At the core of this initiative is 'Extra Intelligence'. This tool is claimed to be designed to assist teachers in lesson planning, assessment, and provide individualised education. It is fully integrated into the school system and allows educators to generate teaching decks, design activities, and assess students. It even tracks engagement levels during live classes.
