Focus on employment, empowerment of farmers & women
Reviving Odia Asmita, generating employment, and empowering women and farmers remain the top priorities of the Odisha government, which is committed to a people-first approach, Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati stated during his address to the Budget Session of the Assembly on Thursday.
He emphasized that the achievements of 2024 stand as a testament to Odisha's resilience and vision, laying a strong foundation for a Vikshit Odisha by 2036.
Highlighting the government's commitment to citizen welfare, the Governor informed that the Chief Minister's Grievance Cell has successfully addressed over 80% of the 9,000 grievance petitions received.
Odisha has also hosted major events such as the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas and the Utkarsh Odisha - Make in Odisha Conclave, further strengthening its presence on the world stage.
