MP CM Announces Rs 250 Rakhi Gift to 'Laadli Behnas'

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav announced on Sunday that all Laadli Behnas in Madhya Pradesh will receive an additional Rs 250 in their bank accounts on 7 August, as a Raksha Bandhan gift, and he described this amount as a "small token of love from a brother", which will be in addition to the regular monthly Rs 1250 provided under the 'Laadli Behna Yojana'.
The Chief Minister made the announcement while addressing a Raksha Bandhan celebration organised by women working at the 'Best Lifestyle' Company in Ujjain. "Every woman of the state is my sister—it is my pride and my honour. The Madhya Pradesh government is fully committed to ensuring that no sister faces hardship", the CM stated.
