Drunk man held for matricide

A 28-year-old alcoholic addict allegedly killed his 68-year-old mother in Bishunpur village under Pattamundai rural police station of Kendrapara district on Monday night.
He was arrested on the charges of matricide.
The assailant Manoj Mallick assaulted his wife on Monday night for which the victim Santilata Mallick scolded her son for returning to the house in an inebriated state and attacking his wife.
