Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma’s comeback: new podcast launches after Vuma FM exit drama

Earlier this week, she released an announcement video on her social media platforms.

“This one is for all of those who have believed in me and supported me. You guys have stood by me, and I am forever grateful. Please subscribe to my YouTube channel, Zoom in with Jacinta MaNgobese Zuma, as I continue my journey in the broadcasting world,’ she said.

The podcast will feature conversations with a range of guests.

“We do not do corny things. We do interviews that matter, with guests that people want to hear from. We make sure they share their truth and we bring it directly to the audience,’ she explained.

While Ngobese-Zuma is pursuing new opportunities, she continues to demand answers from Vuma FM about why she was let go. She is taking legal steps against the station.

Ngobese-Zuma had been with Vuma FM since 2019. In July 2025, she confirmed in a media statement that she had received a termination letter, with her last day set for July 31. She did not reveal the full reasons for her dismissal but suggested that a complaint had been lodged against her.

MOST people in tech start a career as interns and ultimately they become CEOs and if they start a business they also become tech founders. It's rare for anyone to start as a founder and to later become an intern. This has been the case with Lunga Momoza, which makes him probably one of the most expensive interns in South Africa.
