RYAN Croasdale values his Port Vale Players’ Player of the Year title more than others but said ‘to get all three was special’
The experienced midfielder, a winner of League Two with Stockport County last season, also scooped the Player of the Season and Supporters' Club Player of the Year at the club's awards on Tuesday evening.
“It means the world,” he said. “I've said at any club the Players’ Player is really important but to get all three was special.
“I have always given 110 per cent. And coming from the background the club is in, it’s a working class city [fans appreciate hard work] and things like that and I do add a little bit of quality on the ball as well which is good.”
He has added more to his game this season and has chipped in with goals too and said: “At previous clubs I have probably been that holding midfielder but with the energy and the capacity to run in behind I've added that to my game. And the gaffer has given me that licence to do that. I've enjoyed it. Towards the end of the games when the other team is tiring and the players are tiring, it’s definitely good.”
