Thief with £14k debts stole £365 of toys in crime spree

£400 of pyjamas and £200 of dog shampoo were also taken
FIFTY-YEAR-OLD Wayne Murphy committed seven thefts from shops so he could buy food and pay his debts.
North Staffordshire Justice Centre heard Murphy, who has a lengthy criminal record with 149 previous offences, stole children's pyjamas worth £400 from Emmaus Furniture on September 1.
He returned to the same business on September 8 and stole £100 worth of pillows.
On September 20 he stole dog shampoo worth £200 from Pets At Home.
