THE BUSIEST AND QUIETEST TRAIN STATIONS IN BRITAIN

IVERPOOL Street in London has once again been crowned the busiest train station in Great Britain.

A total of 98.0 million passengers passed through the station's turnstiles last year.

That's 3.5 million more than a year earlier, when it was also the busiest station in the country.

That station owes its presence at the top of the table to the opening of the Elizabeth Line. Before the new line opened, Liverpool Street was only ranked fourth.

Waterloo used to be the country's top train station.
