A MENACING bully has been caged after subjecting his ex-girlfriend to a horrific six-week harassment campaign - despite the couple only dating for two-and-a-half months.

Christopher Pearce struck up a relationship with the victim in September 2024, but she soon ended things in December after a friend warned her about his extensive history of abuse.

Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard the victim conducted a Clare's Law search, revealing his 13 previous convictions for threatening and controlling behaviour.

But enraged Pearce refused to walk away - instead opting to stalk the victim in a concerted effort to scare and control her. He was arrested in late December after calling the victim and threatening to 'knock her dad's teeth down his throat.
