Potters boss Robins says pre-season camp has been productive as squad prepare for new term

- Peter Smith

MARK Robins has been pleased with Stoke City's work out in Spain as he returns home for the next stage of preseason.

Robins has been able to put a new-look squad through its paces in the heat of Andalusia, including a behind-closed-doors friendly against Brighton and Hove Albion on Wednesday evening.

Four new signings have been getting integrated into the group while Bae Junho is quickly stepping up his training as he recovers from a dislocated shoulder and Ben Gibson and Sam Gallagher have been getting closer to their returns.

There have been four academy graduates making their first trip away with the first team too as they try to catch the manager's eye.

Right-back Syd Agina, left-back Laurence Giani, centre-back Jake Griffin and winger Josh Maskall all played in the second half against Brighton.
