'Play area's a mudbath and not up to scratch'

FAMILIES on a new-build estate are calling for improvements to the children's play area.

They live on the Hardings Wood estate, in Talke, and say it's 'not up to scratch.
They say there is not enough play equipment, the paths are inadequate, and children are returning home covered in mud. Now they want developer Persimmon Homes to return to the site and make the improvements.
Paul Simpson, aged 49, and Julie Richardson, of Bunkers Hill, want to see the property giant install more play equipment.
