'Nothing could be done to save woman'

PARAMEDICS say nothing could be done to save a woman found dead in a Hanley flat.

Detectives are continuing to treat the Hammond House death as ‘unexplained’

Emergency services were sent to the flats in Ridgway Road, opposite Hanley Park, just before 4.10pm on Wednesday.

Police remained there the following day with forensics also brought in.
