'Nobody will expect Vale to win, but this is the FA Cup'
The Sentinel

MARK Porter is relishing Port Vale's FA Cup exploits and reckoned, "this season's gone from the ridiculous to the sublime.
ON THE CHARGE: Port Vale boss Jon Brady led the Valiants into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. Below: Supporters' club chair Mark Porter is dreaming of another upset.
Battling relegation from League One, Vale knocked out a Championship club in the fourth round and a Premier League club in the fifth round within five days to set up a mouthwatering date with World Club champions Chelsea in London.
It is a remarkable achievement in the Valiants' 150th centenary year and what makes it more special is they have reached the quarterfinals of the competition in the same kit as when they last made it to the last eight 72 years ago.
The chairman of the supporters' club was thrilled with the victory against Sunderland. While he was hoping for a home draw against either Leeds United, Southampton or West Ham he appreciates a trip to Stamford Bridge at Easter will be a momentous occasion.
"It gives us an opportunity to put ourselves on a global TV stage in front of the football world," said Porter who has been inundated with media requests since Sunday.
