Reform wants additional cabinet member for SEND services
STAFFORDSHIRE County Council's new Reform UK administration is set to create a new cabinet post costing more than £14,000 a year.
The additional Cabinet Support Member will have responsibility for special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) services provided to children and young people across the county and the new post will bring the number of cabinet support members on the authority to four.
Elected members have been asked to approve the new post at the latest full council meeting.
But the proposal was questioned by the council’s Conservative opposition group.
