'Whistling’ prowler removes sign from outside owner’s home
A DOG groomer has been left out of pocket after a night prowler stole her £300 banner from outside her home.
Lydia Chafe launched Pawtopia Dog Grooming from her Trentham home last month.
But she was left frustrated - and puzzled - after the banner advertising her business was taken from the A34 Stone Road.
A man was seen on CCTV at 4.11am on July 17, walking along Stone Road from Trentham roundabout.
He was wearing a jacket, jeans, a beanie hat, boots and was carrying what looked like a collapsible ladder.
He then disappeared into nearby Longton brook and can be heard whistling in the final video.
