MANAGER TELLS CLIVE YOULTON HOW HE FEELS COMPLACENCY WAS CREEPING INTO HIS TEAM

DARREN Moore has asked his Port Vale players and the club's supporters to turn up on Sunday, "with the mindset we are playing Arsenal".

The Valiants boss also believes his players have allowed complacency to creep in after "believing the hype" after a strong September.

Vale have lost two League One games in a row and next travel to Bolton Wanderers on November 8. First comes Sunday's live televised FA Cup first round clash against Maldon & Tiptree from the Isthmian League North Division.

Moore was quick to big the opponents up, saying they have players in their team who have experience at Football League level.

But his players perform five levels above the Essex club and have individuals who have played in the Championship.

Asked where it has gone wrong in the last two matches, he told the club: "Players believing the hype, being complacent. We spoke about the outstanding month of September and we have allowed complacency to creep into our game.
