SYD AGINA, 18, IS WITH THE FIRST-TEAM AS MARK ROBINS AIMS TO FILL THE GAP AT RIGHT-BACK LEFT BY SUSPENDED JUNIOR TCHAMADEU. PETE SMITH ASSESSES THE BOSS'S OPTIONS...

YD Agina will travel with the Stoke City first team to Portsmouth as Mark Robins weighs up how to fill the Junior Tchamadeu gap at right-back.

Robins has a hole to fill in defence after Tchamadeu picked up his fifth booking of the season in midweek and will miss today's lunchtime kickoff at Fratton Park.

Stoke have known this was a position they may face when they didn't have two senior players competing for the shirt.

Versatile Bosun Lawal impressed there in a draw at Middlesbrough but is a couple of weeks away from returning from a hamstring injury.

Agina, aged 18, has been with Stoke since the under-9s and has been around the first team since preseason, taking a place on the bench in the last two league games.
