JOSH Neufville ensured Bradford remained top of League One after a hardfought 1-0 victory over Blackpool.
-
The midfielder, above, struck from Bobby Pointon’s cross six minutes after the break at the University of Bradford Stadium to bank three more points and keep second-placed Stevenage at bay.
They had earlier won 3-2 at Leyton Orient with Carl Piergianni’s header proving decisive after the visitors had fought their way back from a 1-0 deficit.
Goals from Adam Reach, Tendayi Darikwa and Justin Obikwu kept Lincoln in touch with the leaders courtesy of a 3-0 win at lowly Peterborough, while Perry Ng and Yousef Salech’s late penalty ensured Cardiff returned from Wigan as 2-0 winners. Leo Castledine'’s spectacular first-half strike edged Huddersfield to a 1-0 victory at Exeter, while Omar Bugiel and Steve Seddon handed AFC Wimbledon a 2-1 home victory over Wycombe, who replied through Ewan Henderson.
