DARREN Moore gave himself and everybody at Port Vale a 'well done' after the club took a giant step back to League One.

- Clive Youlton

'It's a well done for everyone who made it a memorable afternoon'

The 5-0 thrashing of Bromley in front of hundreds of fans attending Vale Park for the first time was the best display of the season and took Moore's side three points clear at the top of League Two.

"It’s a well done I think for everyone connected and who played their part in making it a memorable afternoon," said Moore, whose team have the League Two title firmly in their sights.

"When we speak about the week’s training that we had leading up to it, and then the support from the supporters coming in and getting behind the team, it was a fantastic afternoon.

"A big thing has been focusing on what we are doing at Port Vale. It’s an honour for me to be standing in front of a full stadium. The atmosphere was great and I thank everyone for playing their part.”
