City boss praises calmness of his international striker and backs him to get off the mark for Potters

- Peter Smith

STOKE City manager Mark Robins is convinced that goals will come for striker Robert Bozenik.

Bozenik, aged 25, made his first league start at centre-forward for Stoke in a midweek draw at Middlesbrough as Divin Mubama, who had started the previous seven games, was given a chance to make an impact from the bench.

The Slovakia striker was relentless in his running and might have won it for the visitors with what proved to be his last touch of the evening.

He got in front of his man to take a low cross from Bosun Lawal first time but clipped a shot just the wrong side of the post.

Still, Robins was encouraged by a full Championship debut for Bozenik, who joined Stoke from crisis club Boavista in the summer and has had to build up his match sharpness following a disrupted preseason.
