Flats plan revealed for 'eyesore' former pub

A SIX-storey building containing dozens of flats could replace an eyesore former pub.

Plans to finally demolish The Bell & Bear in Shelton, right, which has been vacant and derelict for years, were approved in 2023.

Proposals to replace the Snow Hill pub with a mixed use development, including three shops and 41 apartments, have now been revealed.

Applicant Made Architecture is only seeking outline planning permission at this stage, with matters such as the design of the building reserved for a future application.
