Fundraiser in memory of brother
A GRIEVING sister is throwing a charity fun day - to honour the second anniversary of her brother's passing.
David Walker tragically lost his life, aged just 39, on October 13, 2023.
The father-of-two struggled with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) throughout his life after contracting pneumonia as a baby.
David, of Bentilee, eventually succumbed to the disease - after defying doctors for many years.
David's passing left a 'massive void' for wife Sonia, daughter Heidi, 15, and son Tyler, 11.
His parents, Chris and Sandra, along with his older sister Claire and younger brother Mark, were also 'heartbroken'.
Now she is holding a charity fun day today to honour the second anniversary of her brother's passing.
Claire, aged 44, told The Sentinel: "My brother had a lot of different illnesses from a baby. David was always quite poorly with his lung problems.
