House-to-house inquiries after midday Central Forest Park attack
DETECTIVES have launched a rape investigation after a woman was attacked at a city park.
Officers were called to Central Forest Park where the suspect had left the area.
Now specialist officers are supporting the victim as Staffordshire Police has launched an appeal for witnesses.
Officers were called to the park, between Hanley and Sneyd Green, just after noon on Wednesday (June 17) after a woman in her 20s reported that she had been raped.
Investigating officers say the suspect left the area after it happened.
