Badge of Honour for the city's first Honorary Custodian Ross

Accolade was presented at annual meeting
THE city's first ever Honorary Custodian has been presented with a specially-designed Centenary Badge of Honour.
The Sentinel reported in December last year how the accolade had been awarded to city council stalwart Ross Irving as part of Stoke-on-Trent's centenary celebrations in 2025.
The Honorary Custodian role involves representing the local authority at civic and ceremonial occasions.
And to mark the accolade, councillor Irving was handed the badge of honour at a recent annual meeting of Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
It represents a collaboration between Longton-based Duchess China and Hanley’s Skellhorne Jewellers.
