IN a proud moment for the Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Dr. Sambit Das, Professor and Head of the Department of Endocrinology, has been nominated as an Executive Council Member of the South Asian Federation of Endocrine Societies (SAFES).
SAFES is among the most dynamic and influential endocrine bodies in Asia, comprising national endocrine societies from across the South Asian region, including India. The federation is dedicated to advancing collaborative research, improving patient care, developing regional clinical guidelines, and addressing the unique challenges of endocrine disorders prevalent in South Asia.
