Jindal Nagar's Rath Yatra witnesses grand community participation

THE Rath Yatra festival at Devboomi, Jindal Nagar, was celebrated with immense devotion, closely following the traditional rituals of the Puri Jagannath Rath Yatra.

The grand event attracted thousands of devotees from far and wide, who gathered to witness and participate in this sacred procession.

The majestic chariots — Taladhwaja, Darpadalan, and Nandighosh, representing Mahaprabhu Balabhadra, Devi Subhadra, and Mahaprabhu Jagannath respectively — embarked on their annual sacred journey from the Jagannath Temple in Devboomi to the Gundicha Temple within the township.

Naveen Jindal, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) for the third term, representing the Kurukshetra Constituency, and Chairman of Jindal Steel & Power, along with his wife Shallu Jindal, Chairperson of the Jindal Foundation, and his mother Savitri Jindal, MLA from Hisar and Chairperson Emeritus of the O.P. Jindal Group, participated actively as prime servitors in this divine celebration.
