Delhi Police hold meetings with camp organisers ahead of kanwar yatra

THE Delhi Police has started holding meetings with the kanwar camp organisers across its 15 districts to ensure a hassle-free experience for the pilgrims, officials said on Thursday.

On Wednesday, the South district police, led by DCP Ankit Chauhan and Additional DCP Ravi Bishnoi, held a meeting with all assistant commissioners of police (ACPs), all station house officers (SHOs), and several Kanwar camp organisers.
During the interaction, the officers briefed the organisers about safety protocols and amenities to be provided at the camps.
