How did you know that it was time to return?

Angelica: “Hindi naman. I guess everything just kind of happened to me one after the other since I got pregnant and then, I just wanted to focus on being a mom. Dahil may kanya-kanya naman tayong mga panahon, ‘di ba? And I really believe that all my life, since I was six years old — I'm 39 now —I've already been acting, already working.

“So when the time to pause and to nurture being a mom was given to me, I really poured everything into that. And then when things were finally okay — when she (Amila) had already turned two years old — I was diagnosed with vascular necrosis, and my body slowly deteriorated until I could no longer walk. I was on a walker and then eventually ended up in a wheelchair.
