Where fine dining meets purpose: Restaurant Idalia joins Globe Platinum's Gastronome Giving Series

At the heart of Manila’s evolving culinary landscape, where flash often overshadows substance, Restaurant Idalia's owner and chef, Kevin David, has built a dining experience that combines the traditional art of cooking and the urgent need to nourish communities beyond its walls.

This contemporary restaurant in Makati City takes part in Globe Platinum’s Gastronome Giving Series with Facebook community Fine Dining Club Philippines until November 30, 2025, supporting the Hapag Movement’s hunger alleviation efforts to prevent child stunting.

The Hapag Movement is a technology-enabled approach to sustainable change, partnering with established organizations such as Ayala Foundation and UN World Food Programme to create lasting impact through feeding programs and nutrition education.

“Through ‘Globe of Good’ we demonstrate programs that help build a sustainable future for all. The Hapag Movement envisions to help address child stunting in the country. Working with partners, we tackle inadequate nutrition, which leads to stunting among thousands of Filipino children,” said Yoly Crisanto, Globe Chief Sustainability and Corporate Communications Officer.
