A delegation registration meeting will be held in Bangkok today to determine once and for all, the eligibility rules for basketball in the coming SEA Games. It’s been a confusing state of affairs with Thai organizers flip-flopping on guidelines, presumably to suit the host country.
The traditional policy for SEA Games basketball is the requirement of passports only. But when Cambodia unleashed six naturalized players from the US in the last SEA Games and made it to the final, organizers began to rethink the policy.
