Remaining Senate Panel Chairmanships Finalized

The Senate has finalized the remaining committee chairmanships for the 20th Congress, with Majority Leader Joel Villanueva confirming yesterday that the ethics committee would likely be placed under his leadership.
Villanueva read the assignments on the floor in session, including the committee on banks, which will be chaired by Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano.
Cayetano was replaced as chairman of the committee on science and technology by Sen. Bam Aquino.
Meanwhile, Sen. Lito Lapid has been elected chairman of the committee on housing.
