Pinoy singer appeals for LGBTQ acceptance
The Philippine Star
|June 21, 2024
Singer Ice Seguerra has appealed for understanding and acceptance as the Philippines has yet to enforce laws protecting members of the LGBTQ community.
"Until now there is no law that protects us," he said yesterday during the opening of the Rainbow Care Caravan in Plaza Moriones in Intramuros, Manila.
House Bill 10176 and Senate Bill 1600 (SOGIESC Equality Act) remain pending in both houses of Congress.
