No PBA offers for JR

Typhoo Tino rescue hero JR Quiñahan said the other day there are still no offers to make a PBA comeback despite a clamor from fans to give him another chance as a reward for his recent efforts to save kids and elderlies from rising flood waters in his Cebu community.
Quiñahan, 41, said it never entered his mind to play hero as all he wanted to do was to help neighbors reach higher ground. It was early morning when flood waters raged to waist-high level in the Mandaue subdivision Agro Macro last week. Quiñahan said he was prepared to cope with howling winds but the surge of flood waters was unexpected.
