The Asian talent for singing and performing has also been continuously represented by the girl band Quadlips, composed of Feni of Jakarta, Hina (Nagoya), Cole (Manila) and Fame (Bangkok).

There's diversity and unity.

When they come together — be it on video, recording or on stage, Quadlips girls deliver a solid and captivating performance.

It's not surprising if they continue to win and gain more fans across the region.

"I'd say bringing our music abroad has made us grow a lot," said Cole, the Pinay Quadlips member, when asked by The STAR about the experience of getting their music known in various territories and making it to the group during a recent virtual group chat, also attended by other local print and online platforms.

"It's both overwhelming and humbling," added Cole. "It feels like we're always carrying our country, our culture, our roots and our dreams with us. So, it's a big responsibility, but (it's) also an honor."

Being part of a multicultural group is also an opportunity for the girls to learn, such as new languages.

"As Quadlips members, we've learned a lot from our friends (each other) about our homes," said Feni. "I learned how to speak Tagalog, Japanese and Thai."

For Fame, she had the same experience of picking up words in Bahasa Indonesia, Tagalog, Japanese and found it incredible.

Hopping from one city to another and meeting fans also form their core memories. It's definitely a privilege.

"We've been to many countries to perform, and many people have enjoyed our music together," shared Hina.
