'Lent a time for reconciliation, conversion'

This season of Lent, the Catholic faithful are called to establish a meaningful relationship with the Lord.
Fr. Jerome Secillano, spokesman for the Archdiocese of Manila (RCAM), yesterday said, “Lent is a period marked by a call for reconciliation and conversion.”
“The season underscores the need to take account of ourselves and to reestablish a meaningful relationship with God,” he added.
Secillano said it is also a time for deep reflection, prayer and sacrifice.
