Ngunit sa gitna ng mabilis na pagbabago ng lipunan, tanong ng marami: nananatili pa rin bang totoo ang katagang ito, lalo na sa henerasyong Gen Z?
Ang henerasyong Gen Z, binubuo ng kabataang ipinanganak noong huling bahagi ng 1990s hanggang sa unang dekada ng 2010s, ay hindi lamang produkto ng teknolohiya, kundi tagapagdala rin ng panibagong pananaw. Nakikita sa kanila ang dalawang mukha ng kasalukuyang panahon: isang henerasyong madalas pintasan bilang mga abala sa social media, ngunit siya ring henerasyong ginagamit ang parehong plataporma upang kumilos at itaguyod ang pagbabago.
