Gov't to offer P20 B annual co-investment for livestock sector
The Philippine Star
|September 28, 2025
The Department of Agriculture (DA) may soon offer nearly P20 billion in annual co-investment opportunities for the livestock sector, providing a new opportunity for private companies to join government efforts to boost infrastructure, logistics and post-harvest facilities.
Agriculture Undersecretary Asis Perez said the amount currently earmarked is around P18.16 billion annually, highlighting the scale of government support available for co-investment in the livestock sector.
“So those companies that are good in processing, those that are good in post harvest, please consider investing because the government will invest here as well,” Perez said during the Arangkada Philippines Investment Forum 2025 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City.
