Globe, PLDT-Smart Back Konektadong Pinoy Act

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) said that all the major telecommunications and internet service industry players are on board in drawing up the implementing rules and regulations (IRR) for the Konektadong Pinoy Act, which lapsed into law on Aug. 24.
ICT Secretary Henry Rhoel Aguda said that Globe Telecom and the PLDT-Smart group had nominated their representatives to the committee formed by the DICT to take the lead in drawing up and completing the IRR.
