Five Philippine Firms Crack Forbes Asia's Best Under A Billion List

Five companies from the Philippines, including those led by tycoons Enrique Razon Jr., Lucio Co, and Dennis Anthony Uy, have made it to Forbes Asia's list of the top 200 performing small and midsized listed firms in Asia Pacific.
The five Filipino companies that landed in the Best Under A Billion list for 2025 of Forbes Asia are A Soriano Corp., Apex Mining Co. Inc., Converge Information and Communications Technology Solutions Inc., Figaro Culinary Group Inc., and Philippine Bank of Communications (PBCom).
A Soriano, which has reported sales of $226 million, is an investment holding company whose core operating investments include cable and wire manufacturer Phelps Dodge Philippines Energy Products Corp. and Amanpulo Resort owner Seven Seas Resorts and Leisure Inc.
With sales of $254 million, Razon-led Apex Mining is one of the largest gold producers in the Philippines. The company's operation is situated in Maco, Davao de Oro.
